Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy for associated websites, content, and services applies to:

 http://uscsrh.com and http://uscsrh.ideascale.com

Last modified: Dec 1, 2015  (essentially the same as original April 1 2014)

Our Privacy Policy explains:  Examples of what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we use that information.

Information we collect:

We do NOT collect IP’s and we do NOT use any “Unique Identifiers" for you.  We have a small amount of advertising that we use from time to time to cover costs of the websites only, and we do not control their click tracking. We are interested in the following example simple information: number of visits per month (tells us to expand or decrease hardware resources), and the top 5 countries who visit us (helps determine stuff like which languages to support).

How we use information we collect:

We use the information we collect from all of our services to provide, maintain, protect and improve them, to develop new ones, and to protect our business and our users or visitors.  Advertisers create their own set of information related to clicking their links.  Cookies and similar technologies examples:  We are not selling information, therefore, (to my knowledge), the cookies are merely communicating whether visitors are using a desktop or mobile device and what browser to visualize (serve) the information on/to the user.  You may also set your browser to block all cookies, including cookies associated with our services, or to indicate when a cookie is being set by us, however, it’s important to remember that this may screw up the e.g. language preferences.  If a visitor has questions or requests, we reserve the right to reject requests that are unreasonably repetitive, require disproportionate technical effort (for example, developing a new system or fundamentally changing an existing practice), risk the privacy of others, or would be extremely impractical.  We do not have accounts here, therefore, there is very little information we could provide in order to satisfy applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request, but nevertheless we shall respect and comply with lawful requests.  For legal reasons:  We must reserve the right to share our small amount of e.g. statistics only in a good-faith belief that access, use, preservation or disclosure of the information is reasonably necessary to meet any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request, enforce applicable Terms of Use or Service, including investigation of potential violations, detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues, protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of our websites, business, our users or the public as required or permitted by law.

When this Privacy Policy applies:

Our Privacy Policy applies to all of the content and services offered by our business for these websites listed only.  I have carefully linked to resources in the U.S. only, however, we are private sector and do not represent the U.S. government or any agency, and do not know the full extent of their processes and procedures once a visitor leaves our websites to external resource links, and can not be accountable for changes related to external websites (other than the 3 listed).  Our Privacy Policy does not apply to content or services offered by other companies or individuals, including products or sites that may be displayed to you as links, or advertisements, in which case, I make it clear here that we cannot be accountable for their actions as all of their protocols and content are not made known to us.

Compliance and cooperation with regulatory authorities:

We regularly review our compliance with our Privacy Policy, and it may change from time to time.  If we receive formal written complaints, we will contact the person who made the complaint to follow up, and reserve the right to arbitrate outside of court (see terms of use).
